NARM Institute Training & Networking

All psychology students, faculty and counseling staff are invited to participate in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Training Institute free engagement session on the following dates. This is a repeat of September’s session.

NARM Workshop
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

This is a free workshop for all psychology students, faculty and counseling staff addressing why NARM is a cutting-edge model for addressing attachment, relational and developmental trauma, by working with the attachment patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties.

Self Care for Mental Health

Join in on a conversation about self-care for mental health. The presentation will teach the evolutionary psychology behind the stress cycle and the way it affects our bodies and brains.

Coordinator for Student Wellness, Alli Brachmann, will provide you with concrete methods for resolving stress and improving mental health by returning your brains and bodies to a state of relaxation.

Clinical Care for LGBTQ Youth and Their Families Training

Attend this training event to gain knowledge on how to counsel LGBTQ youth and their families. REGISTER BEFORE 10/4 TO GET EARLY BIRD PRICE OF $90

Tedx Event

FAU will be hosting a TedX event on Saturday, October 26 from 1pm – 5:30pm.

The talk is centered around developing and growing our general knowledge in freethinking relationships.

The information presented within this TedX will help all psychology majors in developing positive communication strategies!

Adlerian Sand Therapy Workshop

Lynn University and the Mental Health Counselor’s Association of Palm Beach will be hosting an Adlerian Sand Tray Therapy workshop (3 NBCC approved contact hours) with Dr. Mindy Parsons on November 2, 2019, from 9:00, am – 12:00pm at Elaine’s in the Christine E. Lynn University Center.
